How it works

The tag gets them home. The dashboard keeps everything else in order. No app for the finder to download, and no phone number on the tag to go out of date.

Set up your pet's profile

Add your pet's photo, your contact details and anything a finder should know, like medications, behaviours or allergies.

Someone scans the tag

Any phone camera opens your pet's finder page. They see who your pet is, and a way to notify you your pet is with them.

You get them home

The finder leaves their number and location which you are sent it straight away, so you can call them back and bring your pet home.

Named for Lupo.

Loopo & Co. is named after our dog, Lupo which translates to wolf in Italian which resembles him quite well!

Lupo has had more than his share of vet visits, which is made more complex by us needing to move every couple of years. Between his life admin and ours, we were juggling records from a different vet in every new place we moved resulting in lots of paper.

So we made what we couldn't find: one place to keep all his records that we can pass on to a new vet in moments, and a tag we can update whenever we move. If he ever wanders off somewhere new, whoever finds him can still get him home to us.

That is what every Loopo tag is for: helping your pet find their way back to you.

Questions

Does the finder need an app?

No. Any smartphone camera can scan the QR code, and the pet finder page opens straight in their web browser.

Is this a GPS tracker?

No. There is no battery or electronics, so there is nothing to charge. The tag helps whoever finds your pet contact you quickly and privately.

Does it replace my pet's microchip?

No, and you should always keep your microchip registration up to date. A microchip needs a vet or shelter to scan it, while a Loopo tag can be read by anyone with a phone, right where your pet is found.

Is it suitable for cats?

Yes. We have lightweight options for our cat friends that work exactly the same as our dog tags.

How much will it cost?
